Welcome to the official website for the City of Hopkinsville's Division of Parks and Recreation. We hope you enjoy our new website. The Division of Parks and Recreation offers various leagues, camps, tournaments, special events, locations for rentals, sporting venues and much more. Please contact us with any ideas, suggestions, etc. The Division of Parks and Recreation is the former Hopkinsville-Christian County Recreation Department, and the Recreation Center is the former Recreation Department.
Mission Statement
The mission of the Parks and Recreation Division is to serve the recreational and leisure interests and needs of the community, through providing and managing a variety of facilities and diverse programs, which offer year-round opportunities for physical activity, outdoor experiences, personal challenge, self-expression, social interaction, and an enhanced quality of life.
Tie Breaker Family Aquatic Center hours of operation:
Monday - Saturday: 10:00 am - 6:00 pm
Sunday: 12:00 noon - 6:00 pm
If you are interested in 2009 seasonal employment at Tie Breaker Family Aquatic Center, you must be a minimum of 16 years old. Again this year, the City of Hopkinsville has partnered with Aquatic Management, Inc. for operation and management of the facility.
